Your day begins with an introductory briefing followed by on site training which includes the theory of this kind of flight, much of it learned the hard way by the pioneers of the last two hundred years. Part of your training is in basic safety rules and procedures including landing. Weather conditions permitting you will then - at the discretion of your instructor - be allowed to fly solo, beginning with elementary and then progressively more adventurous flights.

You will be greeted at the site by your host who will explain how things work including safety aspects to be adhered to. See above for full details.

Duration

Flight times are dependant on skill and weather but expect 10 minute flights and as many as 5/6 flights. Allow at least half a day in total.
