Description of the
Location
Corporate Events will take place at our 2,000 acre estate, 2 minutes from
Junction 2 of the M40 in Buckinghamshire, 30 minutes from central London.
A beautiful secluded location which consisting of open fields, valleys and
ancient wooded areas is ideal for this type of event.
A clients whole day centres around the very pleasant surroundings of the
Estate and traditional Lodge, where they can enjoy refreshments and a
variety of home made lunch options.
Quad Bike Trekking
A magical blend of all the best branches of motor sport. Quads are purpose
built all terrain vehicles, to give all riders from 18 to 70 years young a
taste of excitement and exhilaration which will leave them on a high for
hours. They are virtually a motorbike with four balloon tyres. They have
automatic clutches and are therefore very simple to ride, so no previous
experience is necessary. Before taking to the 2 mile course you will have
had tuition and a short familiarisation period.
Clay Target Shooting
We can offer a range of diverse and exciting targets for you and your
guests. Shooting takes place in teams of up to six and each team will have
an instructor who will brief everyone about gun safety and the basic
principles of clay shooting before the activities commence. We are here to
have fun, we do not pretend to be able to teach someone everything about
shooting on one visit but we do ensure that everyone hits plenty of
targets. We use low recoil cartridges for all novices to ensure that only
memories (not bruises) remain! Your guests will have the chance to
practice on all of the stands before things get serious in the
competition!
40 -50 Clays and Cartridges Provided
Archery
Try your hand at one of the country’ s oldest activities. We offer
supervised practise and competition sessions coached by our professional
staff. All the equipment is provided. Archery can provide a refreshing
breather when incorporated into a multi-activity day. It is also a very
pleasant introduction to this "gentle" pursuit, set in our beautifully
grassed surroundings.
The Land Rover Experience
Adventure 001 Events have joined forces with The Land Rover Experience –
specialist off-road training on our 25 acre wooded course recognised as
the best available. From September 2005 we will be offering professional
4x4 training, fun off-road driving days, corporate and team building days
using a fleet of recent model Land Rover vehicles including Freelander,
Discovery, Defender and Range Rover.
We have a professional team of experienced off-road driving instructors
who will guide you through your experience with knowledge and expertise.
If you have never handled a 4 x 4 before, you'll find off-road driving
pushes you to new heights. Under the watchful eye of our instructors you
will be using your head as much as your hands and feet!
Air Rifles
Air Rifle Shooting is absorbing, competitive and above all fun. Knock over
static targets, make spinners fly and get the bulls eye!
We can offer your group a variety of targets and with the help of our
experienced instructors you will learn about shooting, breathing
techniques and the best shooting positions to take.
Hovercraft
The Hovercrafts are powerful and fast designed for land or sea, demanding
a great deal of skill and confidence. After familiarising yourself with
your new vehicle you will get to fly these mini Hovercraft under the
supervision of our instructors around an obstacle course in timed relay
race.
Helicopter Sightseeing
A spectacular helicopter tour over the centre of London! See the major
attractions that have made London one of the greatest cities in the world.
Following the line of the River Thames, superb aerial views such as the
Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral, The London
Eye, The Tower of London, Kew Gardens, The Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge, as
far as the Millennium Dome - are all on offer.
