Brief Description of a
Typical Event
We start with a safety briefing and explanation of how the guns works,
followed by the techniques of the art of shotgun shooting.
Then we divide your group into teams of between 5 to 7 (each team
accompanied by an instructor) we would normally shoot a 30-40 clay
practice over various types of sporting targets from different positions.
Approximate time two hours.
After the practice we take a short break, then finish the day with a 20
clay competition to find the High Gun of the day!
Most venues are a short walk or drive away from some very good village
inns, ideal to start or finish with food or drinks (no alcohol before
shooting please!).
