Thirsk Our North Yorkshire shooting ground is situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, just outside the market town of Thirsk and ten minutes from A1 J49, within easy reach of York, Leeds, Teesside and Newcastle. The shooting school consists of competition-standard range and equipment, where our expert tutors will take novices through every aspect of Group Events, and experienced guns can perfect their craft with the very best advice. Our trap layout is excellent, so whether you want to shoot with light or heavy guns, soft or hard cartridges, you will be able to test your aim and accuracy, shooting a variety of targets. Our instructors are very experienced in both recreational & competition shooting, with AMICSI certification and the ability to give the best teaching to all levels of ability and experience. This venue is available Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm.
