Typical
Sailing Day Itinerary
Starting from
the well known yachting village of Hamble, Hampshire. On
arrival you will be greeted by your skipper, who will then
provide a safety briefing and show you around the yacht(s)
over a fresh coffee/tea and a continental breakfast.
Mid morning you
will leave the marina and make you way down the river to The
Solent. Here everyone will be involved in the fundamentals of
sailing a yacht including; tacking, gibing, helming, hoisting
and dropping the sails.
For lunch the yacht will anchor in a picturesque bay
such as Osbourne or Newtown Creek. A range of gourmet menu’s
can be offered.
The afternoon will can be spent cruising or racing your way
back to Hamble. After arrival a cocktail reception will be
held aboard your yacht in the last of the afternoon’s sun
until 6.30pm!
Fresh food, tea
coffee and bottled drinks will be available for the duration
of the day. Most dietary requests are happily accommodated
for.
