I bought this falconry experience for my boyfriend for his Xmas. Really loved this place, we had never been before and came all the way from Edinburgh on public transport but we weren't disapointed! It was terrible weather so the staff took us indoors to their Education hut where everyone held three birds each; a buzzard, a peregrine falcon and a very restless eagle! It was a really informative and interesting talk from our guide-unfortunetly we can't remember his name, maybe Stewart? but he was incredible and funny aswell, with over 20 years experience in falconry he knew his stuff. The birds were amazing and the experience of holding them was something we won't forget. Afterwards we looked round at the rest of the falconry centre and I am so intrigued by the vultures, it was horrible to hear about their declining numbers and that now they are critically endangered, such fascinating animals! This centre is doing all it can to conserve and help this and other birds of prey. The flight show was also well done, due to bad weather we went inside where we could, but couldn't fault it! Even though it was freezing and raining the staff kept going. Thanks to all staff for making the day great and well will be back/tell others.

Excellent experience. First class tuition from Craig. Who made the day fun, and taught us a lot, about how to handle a shot gun, and to actually hit, a moving target. 10 out of 10

Well organised and run by a great and knowledgable bunch of gentlemen. All equipment was supplied and there were no additional charges. Great experience thanks

First huge thanks to Phil, my pilot and instructor. Very clear instructions that gave me confidence. The weather was about perfect, clear blue sky and almost no wind. We are local to the Bath area and it was great to fly over familiar landmarks. Phil headed us towards our village and one of the highlights for me was spotting our home from the sky. My confidence grew as we flew and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole flight. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you Phil and all at the flying club. The lunch that followed at the cafe was first class too!

4 of us did the Clay Pigeon Shooting experience in Congleton, Cheshire. We all enjoyed the time there - the instructor was friendly and encouraging and happy to answer any questions. We did manage to hit quite a few clays! We had a good hour of shooting, taking it in turns with the instructor. Being a February day, it was very cold and windy. The ground we had to walk on was a stony path so not muddy. We were offered tea/coffee before the experience and also a bacon or sausage bap which we could have before or after, we had ours afterwards. We were able to warm up in the lounge (roaring fire!) and also were able to buy cake. Everyone was very friendly and we would recommend.

We both had an amazing time and our instructor Richard was incredible! He knew al the tricks to try and help you get your aim correct! Will definitely try and book more lessons with him! Thank you!

Mike was brilliant, informative, educational, funny and has an obvious love and connection with his birds. The three hour experience flew by! The birds are extremely loved and well cared for. The chance to get up close and personal with these magnificent birds was a pleasure. Whisper the little owl loved to be stroked and Pandora the eagle was a gentle giant. It’s not everyday you experience a Eagle sitting on your arm! Revel the owl was a funny character with plenty of attitude. Well done Mike, you were brilliant and so educational - your care and the bond you have with your feathered friends is lovely to watch, and thank you for inviting us into your amazing world. I wasn’t the biggest bird fan, I know look at them and respect them in a whole new way.

Bought this as a birthday gift for 25 year old son - just for something different. Our instructor Ian was JUST the right person to make the event fun and memorable. We had 30 shots pp with varying degrees of difficulty for each 10. Made it more fun by placing bets at the outset. Next time shall introduce ‘trophies’. Really fun way to spend an hour of your time!
