I was the only child but had a really great time, the gentleman who ran it was really knowledgeable and obviously loved his birds. Although we had intermittent bad weather (occasional snow) it was managed perfectly. I got to hold lots of birds and be involved in lots of discussions and activities.

This has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I have attended. The presenter was so knowledgable and engaging that even in hails and rain showers we all stood/sat and took it all in!! The birds were absolutely lovely, handsome and with brilliant characters. I would whole-heartedly recommend this experience to anyone wanting something really different. Martin

Very professional set-up

Very knowledgeable presenter, who answered all questions not only about the birds he brought with him. His birds were in excellent condition and well trained and his very professional relationship with those attending was first class. We were able to sit down to watch- important at our age.

We had a lovely morning learning about birds of prey. The Eagle Owl was a highlight, such a beautiful bird. The flight of the peregrine was magical, really worth seeing. Thanks for a great intro to birds of prey!

We booked the flight experience for our 14 year old son as he wants to fly planes when he finishes school. The morning was so well organised yet relaxed at the same time. We were amazed at how much control Oliver was given and he thoroughly enjoyed his time in the air.

I had my first experience of firing a gun on Saturday 16th March. The venue was spacious and the people were so friendly. The instructor put us at our ease and gave good guidance. Would recommend this experience to others to try their hand.

The staff were lovely and were very friendly. There was a lot of waiting around in a cold breeze. Once you had your turn the instructor was very knowledgeable and gave his undivided attention to you.

--Gillian Poppleton

The Instructor and staff were excellent ad very friendly. The group was too large therefore there was a lot of waiting before your turn came around.

A great afternoon, really friendly instructor and the session was just about the right length.

A great day out at Hazel Bank. Very friendly staff and the tuition was spot on. Would highly recommend

Very good experience, helpful and expert staff. Something worth doing once in a lifetime, why not here!

The first time for me what a wonderful time we had, no rush , good instructions, excellent safety, would highly recommend this experience and look forward to going again. Many thanks

Both my Dad and I were brought a clay pidgeon shooting experience for Father’s Day by my wife. We also paid for an extra space for my brother in law. We had a brilliant day out and would thoroughly recommend it. None of us had fired a shot gun before but the instructor was very friendly and helpful and we were soon hitting clays for fun (appart from my dad who was just terrible)! I would 100% return and am going to look at sorting something out to take my work colleagues for a fun day out.

Great few hours learning something new. Great instructor Trevor teaching us and friendly staff.

--Hannah Sharp

I had a fantastic time at Muntham farm with the instructor and venue being both outstanding.

--Ashley Catling

This was my first experience of flying a small plane and I found it a great experience, especially as it was such a windy day. The instructor was very friendly and encouraging. The whole set-up at Gloucester airfield was very professional and I will certainly recommend it. Many thanks for a good day.

All staff really pleasant and happy to help where needed. Shooting staff also nice and easy to get along with - up for having a laugh too.

Richard was the absolutely brilliant! He showed us how to use the gun safely and was very informative on how to fire the gun and how to get a proper shot at the target. As it was my first time doing clay pigeon shooting, I thoroughly enjoyed it! The only criticism I have is that the day was supposed to have 'refreshments'! The only refreshment was make your own coffee or tea and there was an oval plate in the middle of a table with a few biscuits, that were soft and stale! We arrived at about 1.35pm, the plate was nearly empty at that time. When I booked this experience, it was for my partner's 50th birthday, it stated that it was 'Clay Pigeon Shooting with seasonal refreshments'. Tea or coffee is all the year round, no food offered. That was the only poor thing for that day.

We had a wonderfull morning at Herrings Farm. Being so up close to some fabulous birds was amazing. The morning was so informative and so good to see how well the birds are cared for. Our guide for the morning was so knowledgeable but also a good laugh. I will be coming back again.
