Hi! My son and I went to Portishead for our experience. I can’t commend our instructor, Tony, highly enough. He was patient, encouraging and so knowledgable! He really helped me out when I couldn’t get the hang of it because of my dodgy eyesight!! Really great mornings entertainment.

We absolutely enjoyed our helicopter ride. Everything was simple and straightforward from booking our flight time to check in. The staff were all so very friendly and informative and helpful. Our Pilot Graham ensured a perfect flight, very smooth with amazing views. Would highly recommend.

We originally booked a 6mile flight but was given the chance to upgrade to a Thrill seeker ride, which we're soo glad we did. What an experience and safe to say we're hooked and will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful experience :)

What an experience worth every penny . It was that enjoyable that I have booked a further trip in November for my family .

My wife brought this experiance 3 1/2 years ago, but due to back surgery I was not able to do my flight experience. I must admit it was worth waiting for, very good experience & enjoyable.

Bought as a gift by my husband, we were a little worried having heard of some issues with this type of gift, however, the whole process was simple and the experience itself was awesome. The club staff were super helpful, I was a little worried because I had never been clay pigeon shooting before but I was made to feel perfectly at ease and had a great time.

Had this as a Father's day gift from my son and daughter-in-law, never been in a helicopter and not a great fan of flying but would happily do this again. Weather was perfect and pilot gave us a good tour of the area, only regret was the flight wasn't longer.

Great time at the flying experiance. All staff very nice, Bhupendra and young asian lad very friendly and very helpful. Light lunch was good, plenty re freshments. Would defintly go again, flying time should be extended from 20 min as this is not enough, especially for the price. Over all wounderful day

What an experience brilliant couldn't have been any better I'm already looking to book again for a longer flight next time. The pilot captain Jon lane was justifiably outstanding very calming. I upgraded to a front seat best thing I did.The photos they did came out great as well. What a perfect way to spend a couple of hours out on a Sunday morning can't wait till next year to have another go. Please take this opportunity to thank everyone else involved for making it a great day out for me

after worrying about cancellatoin due to the weather, we were lucky enough to get a bright afternoon and all flights went ahead with a small delay of 20 minutes. well informed of everything and great set up. saftey drill before getting on, photo as your getting on to the helicopter, then up you go. our pilot was fabulous, we took the thrill ride which was amazing. he dipped the front facing down into the sea was exhilarating, then swooped sideways this way and that. always in full control and you felt so safe and excited the whole time. the views were brilliant as it was such a lovely afternoon. after about 5 minutes which does actually feel longer up in the air, you land safely to the ground and are given a choice to purchase your photo for only £10. we then were given a large glass of bubbly and a bag of thorntons chocs as part of our experience package. all in all a fantastic time and will do again

From the friendly girls at check-in, to the funny, chatty guys doing the safety briefing, and finally to our pilot, Graham, the service was impeccable. The site itself is excellent, with a great shop and café for those not flying. The safety briefing was clear and concise and the boarding was handled quickly and efficiently. I have flown microlights many years ago, but have always wanted to have a trip in a helicopter. I had no idea what to expect for the take-off, but I hardly realised that we had left the ground. Maybe it was the perfect weather, or maybe it was Graham's perfect flying skills, but the flight was incredibly steady and smooth. We approached Edinburgh from the west, with Graham pointing out landmarks such as the zoo on Corstorphine Hill. We were quickly over the city itself and circled above Holyrood (Palace and Parliament), the Castle, Arthur's Seat, Murrayfield, Tynecastle and Easter Road. The measured squares of the New Town's streets were easy to identify. As we headed slightly north towards the Firth of Forth, the Kingdom of Fife came into view across the water. And there really was "Sunshine on Leith" as we flew over the docks and the Royal Yacht Britannia at her moorings. Heading west, we hugged the south coast of the Firth and Graham pointed out the many stately homes and castles below us – Hopetoun House, Blackness Castle, Dundas Castle – it was wonderful to have a bird's eye view of all these places that I have visited at ground level. Way ahead of us was the Kincardine Bridge and the Ochil Hills. Graham pointed out the Wallace Monument above Stirling, his eyesight is better than mine! But of course we were all focussing on the spectacular sight of the three bridges. The Forth bridge that carries trains across the Firth, then the Forth Road Bridge that I've crossed many hundreds of times, and finally the new Queensferry Crossing. Each one is an architectural marvel in its own right, but when seen together the effect is superb. We turned around just past the bridges, and retraced our route, meaning that everyone had the chance to see the sights through their window. The floor at the front is made of perspex/glass, so if you're lucky enough to be in the front seat, as I was, you can also look straight down. Graham explained all of the controls to me – a few more than are in a microlight! 30 minutes passed amazingly quickly, and suddenly we were touching down again at West Craigie Farm. The landing was so smooth that I wasn't even aware we had actually stopped. Thank you to my friends who gave me such a fantastic birthday present, and thank you to the staff of Adventure 001 Helicopters, particularly Captain Graham Martlew. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

I wouldn't expect that flight is such a good fun! Also beautiful panoramic views. Must try once in life for sure! After I believe you will consider to back there like me.. 😀 Many thanks for pilot! Right person in right place! ☺

--Marian Hendzel

Loved the flight, the thrill seekers upgrade was slightly regretted as made us feel a bit poorly so wished we had stuck with the straight and level flight but overall a great experience
